Congrats to our community member Patrick Traynor for releasing Patrick’s Parabox! Patrick’s Parabox was released on Steam March 29th, 2022.
Patrick’s Parabox is an award-winning puzzle game that explores a unique recursive system of boxes within boxes within boxes within boxes. Learn to manipulate the world’s structure by pushing boxes into and out of each other. Wrap your head around what happens when a box contains itself, and learn to use infinity to your advantage. Explore many more mechanics and recursive twists as you delve deeper and deeper into the system. It’s boxes all the way down.
Patrick started the game project while as a student at UCSD, and continued it after graduating. He showcased it often at IGDA San Diego Meetings, and eventually won the 2019 IndieCade Developers Choice Award and the 2020 Independent Games Festival Excellence in Design Award.
Patrick Traynor is an independent and hobbyist game developer based in Southern California, with a focus on puzzle games, platformers, and niche game-making communities.
